The Faith Hope & Charity Foster Care Scholarship was established in memory of Shirley Jean Barr- Williams, Shirley was a dedicated pillar of the community for many years in Houston Tx, Shirley attains 2 master's degrees one from Concordia University in 2009 the other from Prairie view University in 2016 in TX. Shirley was a faithful and dedicated teacher who enjoyed teaching and loved her students, until she was called home to glory. Faith Hope & Charity Foster Care memorial fund provides one (1) scholarship to a graduating High School senior in Monroe- Pike County PA area High School District who’s planning to pursue a higher education degree in Education, Case worker, Psychologist, psychiatrist scholarship award will be in the amount of $1,000. The application deadline is Friday, May 15, 2026.
